Len & I met in 1984, my first job interview, 16 & straight from school. He was Mr B and my boss for 12 years. His knowledge of his business was well recognised in Hatton Garden & when B&G's closed, my next boss, didn't require me to interview, simply saying "If you worked for Len, then that's all I need to know". After the business closed, we always kept in touch. We watched WHU at Upton Park & spent many hours discussing where our team had gone wrong - yet again!
